1. Life Safety & Emergency Authority Disclaimer
Hurricane Tracker is an independent informational and educational platform. It is NOT an official government emergency management agency. During active tropical storms or hurricanes, you MUST always monitor and obey official evacuation orders, watches, and warnings issued by your local emergency management offices, the National Hurricane Center (NHC), the National Weather Service (NWS), and local law enforcement.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Hurricane Tracker (hurricanetracker.live), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the platform.
3. Accuracy of Meteorological Data
Tropical weather data, forecast tracks, cones of uncertainty, and radar overlays are aggregated from public domain government sources (NOAA, NHC, NWS). While we strive for immediate synchronization, delays or interruptions may occur due to upstream feed availability or telecommunications issues. All data is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind.
4. Permitted Use & Conduct
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the platform for personal, educational, and safety monitoring purposes. You agree not to perform automated denial-of-service attacks, scrape excessively to burden public telemetry endpoints, or misrepresent the platform as an official government entity.
5. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall the creators, developers, or affiliates of Hurricane Tracker be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this service, or reliance on any weather projections presented herein.
